The manufacture of capillary columns for use in inverse gas chromatography (IGC) is discussed. IGC capillary columns vary significantly from those used in analytical chemistry; and thus, the manufacturing processes for various applications tend to vary slightly. These variances are discussed in addition to a synopsis of this year's progress.
