In the continuing effort to develop an experimental apparatus for the convective drying of polymer films, studies were conducted this year to ensure that PVAC-toluene is a reliable test system for comparing experimental results with prediction of the Center’s drying model. Drying experiments were performed on a standard moisture balance with proven reliability. The results showed good agreement with model prediction, proving the reliability of PVAC-toluene as a test system.
