A headspace/gas chromatograph setup has been developed to provide an alternative method to study polymer-solvent systems. Activities, fugacity, solubility, vapor-liquid equilibrium are all measurable on this new piece of equipment. The equipment has been in development since mid-January 2001 and is still being optimized.
