The Center for the Study of Polymer-Solvent Systems has developed various techniques to measure diffusion in polymer systems. To date, the Center does not have a conventional permeation experiment to study the permeation of gases or solvents through membranes. The purpose of this project is to develop such a capability. It would be convenient to be able to do such experiments so that the results could be used for practical applications in industry.
