This chapter will discuss the methods of preparing packed bed columns for inverse gas chromatography. The purpose is to find a model to describe the diffusivity and solubility of hexane, ethylene, and isopentane in polyethylene beads which vary in size from 125 micrometers to 2 millimeters, within a the temperature range of 70-100°C.
