Liquid-liquid and vapor-liquid phase equilibria for binary and ternary systems of vinyl acetate, surfactant, water, and poly(vinyl acetate) were studied at 30 and 40°C. Analytical methods were developed for the determination of the concentrations of these four components in the latexes. The Flory-Huggins interaction parameters for the systems were calculated.
