Application of the UNIFAC-FV Model to Multicomponent Polymer-Solvent Systems
Adam Jones

Software has been developed using FORTRAN90 that allows for prediction of binary and ternary VLE of polymer-solvent systems using the UNIFAC-FV method. The new program is versatile and user-friendly. Predicted results have been compared to experimental data for both binary and ternary systems. For the case of ternary VLE, the program accurately predicts measured data in most cases. Because of the lack of experimental data, only limited testing of the ternary model was possible. Based on the results, the new program is ideal for use in the screening of many possible mixed solvents-polymer systems. This program is included on the CSPSS disk enclosed with this report.
