| Explaining Tailing in IGC | ||||
| J. Roman Galdamez | ||||
|
Experimental IGC peaks usually have a tail, more or less prominent, in the rear of the peak. The theoretical models used in the Center to generate these elution profiles have failed in some cases to reproduce adequately the experimental tailing observed. In this chapter, several modifications to the model are considered which may improve the ability to capture the asymmetry and, thus, find a physical explanation for the tailing in the errant cases. |
